Yes, we welcome commissions! It's how we meet most of the wonderful animals in our collection and how the bulk of our work is done. The process is easy (see below), although timing can be an issue. It can take a few weeks to complete and sometimes longer around the holidays (sorry!). But we understand our portraits are frequently birthday or holiday or anniversary gifts, so deadlines are part of what we do every day. Talk to us about it and we'll certainly do our best to get your animal done within the time frame you need.

THE PROCESS (How It Gets Done)
The process is easy. Email, call or write to us to let us know you're interested, then gather up some clear (and, if possible, close-up) shots of your special pal. You'll send these to us ("us" means the artist behind all of these critters) along with your contact information (so we can keep you posted on our progress). We'll take it from there. Your critter will be hand-drawn (no gadgets or gizmos) on 9x12 archival-quality drawing paper. When it's finished, we'll email (or snail mail) a photo of the image for your approval. If you're unhappy with the drawing, let us know-we'll return your photos and thank you for the opportunity, no harm done. If you like it (and, thankfully, we've had only thumbs-up so far!), terrific! You send a check or money order, and we send your drawing (and your photos, of course) as soon as your payment is received. It's easy!

COPYRIGHT (No Wrongs!)
Please keep in mind that you receive the one and only original drawing. Like any other artist, though, we retain the rights to the image we've created. That means that your pet may one day end up on cards gracing the desks of folks all around the world! So far, everyone we've drawn for has been pleased as punch with the idea that their pet could make someone else happy, too. We hope you feel the same way!

PRICE (The Bottom Line)
In almost every instance, the cost to draw a single pet is $125.00. If you've got more than one critter that you'd like in a single drawing, please add $85.00 for each extra face.
